What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They help sites remember things — that you’re the same visitor from page to page, which content gets read, and whether a purchase came from a particular link. organizenook.com uses cookies in the ways described below.
The cookies we use
| Category | What it does | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keeps the site working — security, sessions, and core functions. | Session and security cookies |
| Analytics | Shows us, in aggregate, which guides people read and how they found them. | Google Analytics |
| Affiliate | Attributes qualifying purchases to our links so the retailer can credit us. | Amazon Associates tracking cookies |
| Preferences | Remembers small choices, like your details when commenting. | Comment cookies |
Third-party cookies
Analytics and affiliate cookies are set by third parties — Google and Amazon — under their own privacy policies. We receive only aggregate reporting from these services; we never see your individual browsing or purchase history. More detail is in our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings — usually under “Privacy” or “Privacy and security.” You can block cookies from specific sites, clear them on exit, or disable them entirely. Google also offers browser tools to opt out of Analytics tracking specifically.
If you disable cookies
The site will still be readable with cookies disabled, though some functions — such as commenting — may not work as smoothly, and purchases made through our links may not be attributed to us.
Changes and contact
If the cookies we use change, this page will be updated with a new “Last updated” date. Questions? Email hello@organizenook.com.
