Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have — in plain English.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Organize Nook (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit organizenook.com. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you email us or leave a comment, we receive what you share — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and analytics tools that record technical and usage data: pages visited, time on site, approximate location (city or region level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
How we use information
- To respond to your messages and correction reports.
- To understand which guides help readers most, so we can improve our content.
- To keep the site secure and functioning correctly.
- To credit qualifying purchases made through our affiliate links (see below).
We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and we have no plans to.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them for site functionality, analytics, and affiliate attribution. For a full breakdown of the cookies in use and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.
Third-party services
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic and reading patterns. Google may set cookies and process usage data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out using Google’s browser opt-out tools or your browser’s cookie settings.
Amazon Associates. Organize Nook participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an Amazon link on our site, Amazon may set cookies to attribute qualifying purchases to us. Amazon processes that data under its own privacy notice; we only see aggregate, anonymized reporting. Learn more on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Data retention
We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a record of corrections. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to the settings of our analytics provider.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@organizenook.com and we will respond promptly. You can also control cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Children’s privacy
Organize Nook is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to retailers, manufacturers, and other external sites. Their privacy practices are their own — we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit through our links.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
